The last period of Davide Brivio before leaving MotoGP was marked by Suzuki’s riders’ title in 2020 with Joan Mir. Now, he returns to the premier category as the team manager of Trackhouse Racing.
The Americans are still taking their first steps and are the satellite team of Aprilia – which, at the moment, still does not have the most competitive bike in the field. The riders are Miguel Oliveira and Raúl Fernández.
When asked if it would be a dream to start at Trackhouse with a victory like he ended with Suzuki, Brivio replied: ‘I wasn’t there when Álex Rins won. I left with a title, which is more important than one race! [laughs]. If you ask me if I want to start winning the title again? Yes! But then doing it is another story’.
