Pol Espargaró had a career like few others in MotoGP, being a factory rider for two different manufacturers – KTM and Honda. The final chapter may have come in 2023, although he does not rule out a future return to the grid.
The Spanish rider spoke to Nico Abad’s YouTube channel and admitted that, had he chosen Ducati, things could have been different:
– I had the advantage of choosing challenging projects at the best moments. Maybe I chose Honda at my peak in sports and maybe in the learning stage I chose KTM. If I were to repeat my sporting career now and choose Ducati, things would be very different.
Nevertheless, Espargaró assured that he has no regrets: ‘I regret nothing, I chose the best I believed according to the moment and that’s what has brought me here today’.
