Jack Miller arrives at the Catalunya GP in 13th place in the championship. The Australian rider left Le Mans without a point after a crash during Sunday’s race.
In a debrief, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider spoke about his expectations for the weekend at the Montmeló circuit.
– I’m looking forward to it, I’m excited about this circuit, it’s another classic just like Mugello. The aim is to find a good track again, last weekend we had a good pace. We’ve been working hard this week and I hope to get positive results now, I haven’t been able to due to various circumstances, but I hope to find something again. We use the rear tire a lot to brake the bike and when I’m struggling with rear grip it’s one of the biggest problems I have with the bike. This circuit has little grip, but we’ll try to do our best, this is a race and that’s part of it.
Asked about the vibrations on his bike and his future, Miller replied: ‘It will be interesting to see the rear tire here at this circuit, it has little grip, but it will certainly be interesting. I’d like to do some good results with all the contracts on hold, to increase my chances. I’m just trying to do the best I can and see what we can negotiate. I’ll try to do well and keep going forward, I’m taking it one race at a time.
