Jack Miller arrives at the Catalunya GP in 13th place in the championship. The Australian rider left Le Mans without scoring points, after a fall during Sunday’s race.
In debrief, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider talked about the expectations he has for the weekend at the Montmelo circuit.
– I’m eager, I’m excited about this circuit, it’s another classic like Mugello. The goal is to find a good path again, last weekend we had a good pace. We’ve been working hard this week and I hope to achieve positive results now, I haven’t been able to due to various circumstances, but I hope to find something again. We use the rear tire a lot to brake the bike and when I have difficulty with rear grip, it’s one of the biggest problems I have with the bike. This circuit has low grip, but we will try to do our best, this is a race and it’s part of it.
Asked about the vibrations on his bike and about his future, Miller replied: ‘It will be interesting to see the rear tire here at this circuit, it has low grip, but it will certainly be interesting. I would like to achieve some good results with all the contracts on hold, to increase my chances. I’m just trying to do the best I can and see what we can negotiate. I will try to achieve good results and keep moving forward, I’m taking one race at a time.’
