Francesco Bagnaia, the race winner, was asked in a press conference about the Spaniard, with a question about his performance in Losail and if he will be a title contender. The Ducati rider replied:
– He certainly did a good job, finished fourth and he is Marc Márquez, an eight-time world champion. So, I was expecting him to be competitive. I don’t know about the championship, but he will definitely be one of the rivals. We will see.
