In November last year, Marc Márquez rode the Gresini Racing Ducati Desmosedici GP23 on test day in Valencia. It was the first time he was on a MotoGP other than the Honda RC213V, starting a completely new chapter in his career.
With six world titles and a decade of experience, the Spaniard knows the championship well. However, he admitted to DAZN that before his debut with Gresini he felt some nervousness considering the new situation he was facing:
– I was nervous and had butterflies in my stomach. Although I have been in the World Championship for many years, it was a big change. Then, I became calm, relaxed. I had a peaceful day, focused on getting to know my new technical team and the bike.
