With two titles under his belt, in the Moto3 World Championship in 2021 and Moto2 in 2023, Pedro Acosta will be one of the new faces in the premier category in 2024, where he will be riding for GasGas Tech3.
‘I was in the right moment and place. I am happy with this decision. No one expected that someone who had been left without a team would suddenly appear in the official KTM team and win. Not even them. But without this team, it wouldn’t have been possible. The bike we used this year was the same one we had from Mugello the previous year,’ recalled the young Spanish rider, in statements to the EFE Agency.
Acosta also recalled the effort his family made to put him in the situation he is in.
‘They mortgaged a company to be able to help a kid, they took a leap of faith,’ he declared.
