If there’s one thing Francesco Bagnaia is, it’s that he is an honest rider and after the epic race in Le Mans that ended moments ago the two-time world champion had no problem saying that his opponents had ‘something more’ than him, thus accepting the podium gladly. Still, there is a lot of confidence about the future.
Here is Bagnaia’s reaction in the closed park:
– I tried, I tried everything. I tried to manage in the beginning, but those two in the last laps had something more [meaning Jorge Martín and Marc Márquez], I tried but anyway I finished the race and the result is quite good considering what happened yesterday. I am happy and we will go to the next one and I am sure that in the future we can be better.
