Ruben Xaus is part of the Dura La Vita podcast and, in a statement during the podcast, he spoke about Marc Márquez’s performance in recent races, particularly in the French Grand Prix where he achieved an excellent second place when he started from 13th on the grid.
– Marc, Marc and Marc. He’s put the icing on the cake once again, and he’s in absolutely every betting pool. I think Márquez’s overtaking, apart from the safety of having been behind Bagnaia for 24 laps, comes from Pecco’s doubt, because he didn’t know where to overtake Martín. And in MotoGP, if you have doubts, these things happen.
He added about the possibility of Marc interfering in the fight for the MotoGP title: ‘I think Márquez is coming to destabilize these two riders (Martín and Pecco), who with a GP23 are there every day, and will be more and more. There’s always material coming in and, little by little, it’s leveling things out.
