Being in the spotlight, MotoGP riders are public figures with thousands or millions of followers. That’s why a lot can be found about them on the internet, including articles for sale related to them.
Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rider Pedro Acosta revealed on the El Hormiguero show a curious story involving supposed second-hand articles that belonged to him. The Spanish rider stated:
– I have a big ego and I search for things about me on Google. One day I remembered to check on Wallapop what was being sold of Pedro Acosta and I saw that boots, sliders, gloves, and things that were not mine, but they said they were, were being sold.
Acosta didn’t stay quiet, responding… by selling something genuinely his: ‘So, I got tired of them laughing at me like that and I thought I could laugh at them by selling my used shorts, used but in good condition‘.
A funny and honest way for the rookie to respond, providing an article that belonged to him second-hand.
