Sprint races still divide opinions in MotoGP after their first season. Some riders like them, others would prefer not to have them at every Grand Prix. Brad Binder gave his opinion.
According to the Corse di Moto website, the Red Bull KTM rider revealed that he particularly likes Sprint races because they are short races where you are constantly pushing the limit, although he acknowledges that they are more physically demanding:
– It’s strange, because the truth is that I realized that the Sprint race is much more physical than the main race, because in the main race you have to worry about tire wear and everything. While in the Sprint race it’s like an attack from the first lap, it’s about ten to twelve laps. Honestly, I prefer the Sprint race because I like to push to the limit rather than trying to go all the way with the tires.
