One of the major issues for Aprilia riders in MotoGP in 2023 was the heat generated and not dissipated properly by the bike, which created many difficulties in the hotter races. Additionally, there was a certain lack of consistency in performance.
Maverick Viñales, one of the riders for the Noale manufacturer, admitted that heat will still be a problem, but he has no doubt that performances will be considerably more consistent in 2024:
– I need to train more in the sauna, we have some bad luck in that aspect. But the consistency will be much better. Last year the last races were already much better. Of course, there are tracks where we have more difficulties, but after understanding the bike’s balance, it will be much easier for us.
