The MotoGP tests in Sepang start tomorrow and for Marco Bezzecchi adaptation is the keyword. The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider will be on the Ducati Desmosedici GP23 and, after the initial contact in the Valencia test in November, he knows that he has to adjust his riding to the bike.
The Italian spoke about his desires for the tests: ‘First of all, I can’t wait to ride the real bike, because the Panigale gets boring after three laps. So, I can’t wait to go to MotoGP, try to understand the bike better, try to adjust my riding style for the new bike‘.
When asked about what this adaptation entails, Bezzecchi replied: ‘Several things, because the bike is a little different, so I have to adapt in different parts of the riding, but this is the goal for the test‘.
Having to adapt mainly to a new bike, #72 was asked if three days of testing is too much. In response, he stated: ‘Three days is good, it’s better than two or one. Also because in the end, the tests are also good to enjoy, because you ride the bike and you can enjoy it. In the competition weekend, you always have to attack. Well, you enjoy when you are fast. But the tests are a bit more free‘.
