Jorge Martín fought for this year’s MotoGP title until the end for the Pramac satellite team. There was speculation about a possible move to Ducati in place of Enea Bastianini if he had become champion, but the truth is that he ended up in second place behind Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) and that change did not materialize.
However, it was indeed on the table. In a DAZN documentary, “Martinator” revealed that he already had competition suits prepared in case he did not pass the test for Pramac: ‘I don’t know if I can say this, but on the Sunday of Valencia I already had two black competition suits prepared in case I switched to another bike‘.
Despite not being able to move to the Ducati factory team again, Martín ensured that he is happy at Pramac: ‘But, well, it didn’t happen and I don’t care.
