The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ continues to face many difficulties despite Fabio Quartararo’s vote of confidence in renewing with the Japanese manufacturer. The riders of the team coordinated by Lin Jarvis did not do better than 12th place for Quartararo, Alex Rins suffered a crash and did not score, once again, in the Americas GP.
In the debrief, the Spanish rider talked about the difficulties that the Japanese manufacturer is going through.
– ‘It is a complicated moment, but we are doing our best and comparing the data. In the tests, we will have news and we hope it will help improve our performance. We haven’t reached there yet, but I believe in this project. It’s just a matter of time until we are back on top’.
On the other hand, Fabio Quartararo sees the situation differently. A more focused approach on development for the future: ‘The upcoming tests in Jerez and Mugello will be crucial to accumulate data. April will be a busy month for us. Currently, my goal is not to lead the races, but to develop the bike’.
