Marc Márquez tested the Ducati Desmosedici GP23 for the first time last week in Valencia, and the manufacturer’s test rider, Michele Pirro, did not fail to pay attention to the former Repsol Honda rider.
The Spaniard cannot elaborate on public comments about the new bike due to contractual issues, but he was pleased with his initial impressions. And, naturally, he provided feedback to the Gresini team and Ducati.
Pirro was not surprised by Márquez’s quick adaptation to the new bike and, in an interview with GPOne.com, he mentioned that #93 was happy, with few areas for improvement:
He didn’t say much, but from what we saw, like his expression, or the fact that he did about 50 laps without taking big risks, I think those are the best answers. As a Ducati rider and test rider, who has to transfer information and sensations to the technicians, I was clearly concerned about asking him what things could be improved, and at this moment, the blank sheet of paper remained very empty.
