The MotoGP tests in Sepang saw Marc Márquez make progress in adapting to the Ducati Desmosedici GP23, but the rider is aware that it is still not enough – with only two days of testing left before the opening round.
At the moment, the Spanish rider considers that despite the better sensations, there are still many aspects to improve, particularly highlighting the behavior and the way of riding the bike when exiting corners:
– Of course, step by step I am working, I am feeling better. I am still riding too tense on the bike. I still can’t play with the body like for example [Enea] Bastianini or [Jorge] Martín are doing. It is true that Pecco [Bagnaia] doesn’t use the body much and is fast, but let’s see. I still need to understand especially the exit of the corner, which is where you really make the lap time with this bike to try to get the most out of it. For example, with the Honda it was the opposite – the attack on the stopwatch was more on the entry, with this bike it is more on the exit.
