The future of Marc Márquez in MotoGP is uncertain, as his contract with Gresini expires at the end of this season. The rider is one of the candidates for a place in the Ducati factory team, but it is not certain that he will secure it.
In fact, there are rumors that the championship leader, Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati), may have already been chosen. Yesterday, the eight-time world champion defeated his rival in a direct duel in the Sprint race of the Italian GP.
However, Márquez downplayed the importance or relevance of this result in defining his future – emphasizing that he has different viable and satisfactory options to decide:
– The same as in the last races. You can see, my weekend didn’t affect much. I have a lot of experience in MotoGP, and once again I repeat the same: I’m not panicking because I have three different scenarios in which I feel comfortable. So, I think we will go for one of those scenarios.
