The 2023 season was historic for Prima Pramac Racing, which became the first satellite team to win the MotoGP championship. However, their rider Jorge Martín narrowly missed out on the individual title.
Although it may seem disappointing, the team owner, Paolo Campinoti, assured Paddock TV that he ended the season “with a smile on his face”: ‘I am very happy because in life you also have to know how to accept defeat and I think it is part of an internal growth process. It is clear that we did not lose the world championship due to a single event, there were a series of our own mistakes that we will try to improve‘.
That being said, the Italian emphasized that he hopes to avoid a similar situation in the future: ‘I hope it does not happen to us again because the bitterness is great. But you also have to know how to digest defeat and I think we have shown this year to be a very strong group that will rise again next year‘.
