Casey Stoner was the first to give Ducati a MotoGP world champion title and also made history with Honda, which led him to be recognized as a powerhouse in the category, but he himself believes he could have done more.
In statements to Motociclismo.it and quoted in Motosan, the Australian was asked what makes him most proud in his career and responded by saying he could have done more, also admitting to making some mistakes:
– I always think I could have done more and that there were situations where I could have done a better job, but I am satisfied with what I did. I could have made better decisions, but in every mistake I made, I learned something that was useful to me when I managed to do what no one else could do, which was to win races and championships, making everyone happy, and that was the best feeling for me.
The year 2012 marked the end of Stoner’s career as a full-time MotoGP rider, then with Honda, just one year after becoming world champion.
