Ai Ogura will remain connected to Honda in the next Moto2 World Championship season, despite moving to MT Helmets-MSi. He will continue to have official sponsorship from Honda Racing Corporation.
The announcement came on the eve of the Japanese GP. The 22-year-old rider has been in the paddock full-time since 2019, making his debut in Moto3 before moving up to Moto2 in 2021. Since then, he has always been part of the Honda Team Asia.
Next year, he will have his first experience in another team structure. Nevertheless, he will retain the support of HRC, which will keep the young talent under its wing.
