In the past month of November, Honda announced an important launch of new products for the 2024 season. Now we announce the price and availability of the main models, including the new CB500 Hornet, NX500, and CBR500R.
The new 500 range has benefited from a significant number of improvements, especially in terms of design and connectivity. Despite this, Honda has made a significant effort to maintain the same prices as its predecessors.
New CB500 Hornet
The Honda’s twin-cylinder naked streetfighter now joins the Hornet family, with a new aggressive style and matching aerodynamic improvements.
The power and torque of the 471cc engine meet the maximum requirements to be compatible with A2 license – 35 kW and 43 N·m; the reprogramming done in the ECU improves the acceleration sensation and Honda’s variable traction control system HSTC is now standard.
The high-quality chassis includes a 41mm diameter Showa SFF-BP USD fork, Showa rear shock absorber, and dual front discs with four-piston calipers.
The new LED headlight offers better visibility in dark environments and the new 5-inch TFT screen allows connecting a smartphone with the installed Honda RoadSync application; then, control is done through a simple and backlit 4-way switch.
CB500 Hornet MSRP: 7,000 euros

New NX500
The Honda medium-displacement adventure model, compatible with A2 license, receives a new name – and an even more robust style – for 2024.

The new rims save 1.5 kg of unsprung weight and are accompanied by a redesigned 41 mm SFF-BP USD fork and rear shock absorber, both from Showa. The two front discs are activated by two-piston calipers.
The new LED headlight offers better visibility at night and the new 5-inch TFT screen allows you to connect a smartphone with the installed Honda RoadSync application; then, control is done with a simple and backlit 4-way switch.

New SH125 and SH Mode
Both models receive a new look for 2024, starting with the new “Vetro” version of the SH125i, which will certainly be the center of attention in European cities. The Vetro is the original creation (and a tribute to technical capability) of the personnel at the Honda factory in Atessa, Italy. It features unique semi-transparent green fairing panels without paint (which produce 9.5% less emissions per year compared to standard coloring methods). Its innovative new aesthetic also incorporates a black front fender, black lower fairing with a striking white Honda logo, and a silver SH logo on the upper fairing.
In addition to the Matte Coal Black Metallic, the SH125i also benefits from a second “Sporty Edition” (SE) in Cool Matte Pearl White (both SE versions feature additional black details around the handlebars and on the front and lower fairings, elegant red stitching on the seat and logos, emblems, and exclusive graphics). Five new color combinations also arrive in the base version: Falcon Grey Pearl, Cool White Matte Pearl, Pacific Blue Matte Pearl, and the classic Nightstar Black, all incorporating new black wheels and details.
The SH Mode 125 arrives in 2024 with two new colors: Luster Candy Red and Matte Galaxy Black Metallic, which join the two existing colors: Pearl Jasmine White and Matte Techno Silver Metallic. With over 45,000 units sold in Europe since its introduction in 2014, the SH Mode 125 has expanded the appeal of the SH family to a younger audience and, thanks to its skillful combination of modern style, confidence-inspiring features, and low operating costs, represents the perfect entry point for those who want an SH.
