The prestigious, economical, and technologically advanced SH family from Honda – SH350i, SH125i, and SH Mode 125 – receives a new look for 2024, led by the new SH125i “Vetro,” which is sure to make a splash in European cities next year.
The Vetro is a creation – and a tribute to the technical skills – of the employees at the Honda factory in Atessa, Italy. The Vetro features unpainted semi-transparent green fairings, whose production methods emit 9.5% less CO2 per year compared to traditional painted fairings. This very current and innovative look also includes a black front fender, a black lower fairing with the beautiful white Honda logo, and a silver SH logo on the top of the covers.
The new 2024 SH125i is the first Honda model sold in Portugal and manufactured in Atessa with EURO5+ homologation. This new standard, which will become mandatory for all new homologations by the end of 2024, includes the introduction of new “onboard” catalyst monitoring, with identification of emissions system-related faults (thus ensuring earlier warning to the driver), stricter requirements for noise and long-term exhaust emissions.
Together with the Matte Metallic Black Coal version, the SH125i also benefits from a second “sporting edition” (SE – Sports Edition in English) in the Matte Pearl White Cool color. Both SE versions feature additional black details around the controls, front and lower fairings, elegant red stitching on the seat and logos, emblems, and custom graphics. Five new color schemes are also introduced as standard: Pearl Grey Falcon, Matte Pearl White Cool, Matte Pearl Blue Pacific and the already classic Nightstar Black, all with new black rims and finishes.
With sales exceeding 10,000 units throughout Europe in 2022, the top-of-the-line SH350i will be available in two new colors and four new 2024 color schemes. The new colors are Metallic Blue Zephyr and Matte Metallic Silver Techno, joined by the colors Matte Metallic Black Coal, Matte Metallic Silver Ruthenium, Pearl White Cool, and Black from last year. All colors feature new black rims and finishes.
The SH Mode 125 arrives in 2024 with two new colors: Candy Red and Matte Metallic Black Galaxy, joining two colors from last year, Jasmine Pearl White and Matte Metallic Silver Techno. Having sold over 45,000 units in Europe since its launch in 2014, the SH Mode 125 has expanded the appeal of the SH family to a younger audience and, thanks to its very skillful and intelligent combination of current style, reliable performance, and low operating costs, this model represents a perfect “entry point” into the SH world.
In total, almost 49,000 units of SH family scooters were sold in Europe in 2022 – a total comprised of over 10,000 units of SH350i, over 29,000 of SH125i/SH150i, and over 8,200 of SH Mode.
