The Honda medium-displacement supersport model returns to Europe, aiming to dominate the roads and tracks in this category once again. Its inline four-cylinder engine, 16-valve DOHC, delivers 89 kW at 14,250 rpm and includes an assisted/slipping clutch and a standard Quickshifter system. The electronic throttle TBW – derived from the RC213V-S – along with the addition of a 6-axis Bosch IMU, offers 3 predefined driving modes, plus two user modes that the rider can customize to their liking for the engine power, engine braking effect, anti-wheelie control system, and 9-level HSTC traction control system exactly as desired.
The cornering ABS and rear wheel lift control system are also included in the set of electronic driving aids. The chassis consists of a double beam aluminum frame, an aluminum swingarm, an electronic Honda steering damper system, a 41 mm diameter Showa Big Piston inverted fork (USD), and a rear Showa monoshock that works on a Pro-Link system. The two floating discs at the front are 310 mm in diameter with four-piston radial calipers.Designed to offer the best aerodynamic performance in its class, the CBR600RR has an aggressive style with front fins that increase downforce on the bike. The color TFT screen completes the specification and provides intuitive control.
An HRC competition kit will be available as an option, obviously only for use on the circuit.
Just like all models from the Honda Supersports family, the 2024 CBR600RR will be available in the color options Red Tricolor Grand Prix HRC and in the elegant Matte Metallic Black Ballistic version
