In 2020, Honda completely redesigned this Fireblade for a much more competitive format, focusing more on users who will ride the bike on the track or even in competition.
An incredible bike that we had the opportunity to test at the Qatar circuit, but was also very radical compared to what we were used to seeing from Honda. From then until 2024, the Japanese brand made slight improvements, such as shortening the final transmission ratio a bit.
Now even the gearbox is a bit shorter, giving us an incredibly powerful engine at all speeds. Inside this four-cylinder engine, there are now much lighter components, which have reduced internal friction, resulting in a very strong engine. It produces 217 horsepower, and despite the similar power and maximum torque numbers, the truth is that we have more torque available in various rpm ranges.
