The Honda bicilindrica naked streetfighter now joins the Hornet family with a new aggressive style and aerodynamic improvements to match this iconic name.
The power and torque of the 471 cm³ engine meet the maximum requirements to be compatible with A2 license – 35 kW and 43 N·m; the reprogramming done on the ECU improves the acceleration sensation and Honda’s variable traction control system HSTC is now standard. The high-quality chassis includes a 41 mm diameter Showa SFF-BP USD fork, Showa rear shock absorber, and dual front discs with four-piston calipers.
The new LED headlight offers better visibility in dark environments and the new 5-inch TFT screen allows you to connect a smartphone with the installed Honda RoadSync app; then, control is done by a simple and backlit 4-way switch.
For 2024, the Honda 500 streetfighter formula continues to evolve. Joining the iconic Honda family, the new CB500 Hornet follows the trail of the impressive CB750 Hornet with a new aggressive style, cutting-edge technology, and a variety of detailed upgrades that will surely make it one of the most popular bikes in Europe.
This new name and new look give the CB500 Hornet a fresh new look for 2024. The model for the next year also brings new premium technology, a 5-inch TFT screen – operated by a switch on the left handlebar, very intuitive and easy to use – and includes smartphone connectivity through the Honda RoadSync app. The engine is a two-cylinder unit with a slipper clutch, compatible with A2 license and benefits from the addition of the brand’s variable control (the famous HSTC) and a reprogramming in the ECU to improve acceleration capability.The cycling component includes a new 41mm diameter Showa SFF-BP USD fork as before and a front brake with two four-piston radial calipers.
