Honda Racing Corporation and RedMoto have established a partnership in which the Italian company will be responsible for distributing a new special rally parts kit under the name CRF450RX Rally.
RedMoto will also handle the configuration of the bikes according to European homologation standards. The prototype made its debut in last year’s Rally of Morocco with Romain Dumontier, while in the 2025 Dakar, the French rider finished 12th overall (third in Rally2), with three other riders also competing.
In its first year, only 50 units will be sold, all available by reservation. The bike’s navigation tower is made of carbon fiber, and its technical base is the CRF450R’s aluminum twin-spar frame. It features three fuel tanks – two at the front and one at the rear – offering a total capacity of 36 liters.
The rear tank contributes to the structure of the rear frame, increasing its rigidity for more stable and precise handling. The bike is equipped with an inverted Showa front fork, the same brand as the rear monoshock. Each wheel has a brake disc.
The engine is a single-cylinder with a displacement of 449.7 cubic centimeters, delivering 58 hp and paired with a six-speed gearbox. The exhaust system, with titanium pipes, was manufactured by Akrapovic. The front wheel measures 21 inches, while the rear wheel is 18 inches.
