Valentino Rossi was present at the Jerez GP. The nine-time world champion spoke about the man of the moment, Pedro Acosta.
In statements to MotoGP.com, Rossi praised Acosta and highlighted the importance of having a generation with great potential and promising stars in MotoGP again.
– ‘He is good for the sport, because when a rookie arrives in MotoGP at this level and fights for victories in every race it is very good. But honestly Acosta’s career numbers are very direct, he won two championships in three years. I did not expect him to be this good so soon, it is a surprise for everyone, but it is very good to follow him and I believe it will be very difficult to beat him in the future.’
