It is no secret that Toprak Razgatlioglu is one of the great phenomena of current speed motorcycle racing. The rider competes in the World Superbike Championship, but is considered one of the most talented out there and, although he has never made the move, he has even been rumored as a possibility in MotoGP.
Currently, the Turkish rider competes in ROKiT BMW, whose director Shaun Muir is impressed with his quality. Quoted by the Motorsport.com website, the British man includes Razgatlioglu in the top five best riders in the world across all championships:
– I think Toprak is one of the five best riders if you combine all the paddocks. In my opinion, he has great talent. He puts everything together to make the most of the bike’s strengths and works around the weaknesses. That’s the difference. He can do certain things on the bike that others can’t.
Making this type of comparisons accurately is difficult, since Razgatlioglu has never faced the top MotoGP riders head-to-head. What is certain is that in WSBK he is showing that he can also fight for the title with BMW, and in March he brought the manufacturer back to victory after several years.
