Harley-Davidson has announced its plans for the 30th edition of its famous European Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Rally, which will be held for the first time in Senigallia, Italy, from June 6 to 9, 2024.
The European H.O.G. Rally is designed to be an “open to all” and free event. Held in a different location each year, this iconic event regularly attracts over 50,000 motorcycle enthusiasts, Harley-Davidson devotees, and Harley Owners Group members. This year, the event comes to Italy celebrating its 30th edition, taking place in the historic port city of Senigallia, located in the Italian region of Le Marche, near Ancona and less than two hours south of Bologna.
The rally will feature a wide variety of H.O.G. and Harley-Davidson activities, as well as music, excellent Italian cuisine, entertainment, shopping, and much more in this beautiful and ancient city. Harley-Davidson is partnering with various local Italian companies and brands to host what promises to be a spectacular event.
An essential ingredient for a H.O.G rally is music and the main stage this year, in the central Piazza Garibaldi, could not be more scenic. The imposing square, surrounded by iconic buildings, will be the center of attention as the main entertainment venue, with headline acts and artists from Italy and other countries taking the stage on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The musical program is being prepared by DJ Ringo from Virgin Radio and will be announced soon.
Harley-Davidson was built on the foundations of adventure and freedom, and visitors who wish to feel inspired to go out and ride can do so with an off-road experience on the Pan America 1250 Special, the exclusive adventure touring model from Harley-Davidson. In partnership with the respected Italian Adventuring Touring academy “Di Traverso – Adventouring,” visitors can take part in a guided half-day adventure on the road and local off-road routes of Strada-Bianci, experiencing some of the best off-road routes in the region. This activity can be booked by Harley-Davidson Pan America riders and riders of other Adventure Touring motorcycle brands.
Adventure enthusiasts will also have the company of Dakar elite pilot Joan Pedrero at the event, who recently made history by finishing the 15th edition of the Africa Eco Race on a Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250. Pedrero finished 1st in the maxitrail category and 25th overall. Harley-Davidson’s participation in the competition demonstrated the capability and reliability of the Pan America 1250. Adventure is part of the brand, and the Pan America 1250 is exploring new ways to experience the true Harley-Davidson experience, with rally visitors having the opportunity to try it out for themselves.
Harley-Davidson also announces that Deus Ex Machina will join the festivities as a partner of the event, bringing their custom style, motorcycle culture, and sense of adventure to the weekend.
No H.O.G rally would be complete without the iconic Harley-Davidson parade, with the spectacle of thousands of bikes riding through the heart of the city, passing by historical landmarks, on Saturday, June 8th. Enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to showcase their creative bikes at the Custom Bike Show, which will take place at Piazza Garibaldi on Friday, June 7th.
