Joan Pedrero, elite pilot of the Dakar, once again made history by completing the 15th edition of the Basella Race aboard a Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250. Despite the imposing challenges posed by the race, Pedrero demonstrated unparalleled resilience, finishing first in the maxi trail category and 6th overall in the race, which took place from February 16th to 18th in Lérida, Barcelona.
From the thunderous mass start to the relentless dusty trails, Pedrero’s unwavering determination propelled him through the 130 km race, overcoming all obstacles. Pedrero competed on a completely stock Pan America 1250, the first Harley-Davidson Adventure Touring model. The challenge showcased the extreme capabilities of the Pan America 1250 and how it embodies the unwavering spirit of adventure that is part of the DNA of the American motorcycle brand. Equipped with the revolutionary Revolution Max 1250 engine, a liquid-cooled 1250 cc V-Twin engine, Pedrero put the model to the test.
Earlier this year, Pedrero showcased the remarkable capabilities of the Pan America 1250 during the 15th edition of the Africa Eco Race, where he claimed 1st place in the maxitrail category and secured the 25th position overall.
