Danilo Petrucci is known to all fans for having raced in many specialties of motorsport, going from track to dirt track, from the asphalt of Mugello to the sand of the Paris-Dakar. Experiences that the pilot from Terni transmitted to Francesco Iannuzzi and Gianluca Bartolini, co-founders of Dotto Creations, who unleashed their creativity to create two completely different motorcycles, but which have in common (besides a Ducati base) a unique design and innovative devices, making them as multifaceted as those who inspired them.
The first one is called Handyman and is what would have been called an “all-terrain” motorcycle years ago. Petrucci dreamed of a motorcycle that he could use every day, but that would also allow him to ride off-road, and Dotto created it for him based on a Ducati Desert X. It is a motorcycle with a special design and innovation: a mechanism in the handlebar that allows the rider to decide whether they want a lower riding position, suitable for fast roads, or a more upright riding position, ideal for off-road riding. It will be produced in a limited series of 10 units, with each motorcycle customized according to the customer’s desires in terms of colors, materials, and accessories.
These are some of the interventions by Dotto Creations:
– Body: super lightweight fairing made of high-performance polymers and/or carbon.
– Handlebar: new patented “dual position” handlebar.
– Light sets: front headlight, rear lights, and turn signals.
– Other parts designed by DC: exhausts, saddle, tank, engine protection, mudguard, front mudguard, rear mudguard, grips.
The second one is the Noveunosei, which aims to start from the base of the Panigale V4 and merge it with the aesthetic characteristics of the legendary 916, the first bike used on the track by Danilo Petrucci. In this creation, there are also innovations, such as the exhausts that retreat under the seat or the front headlights of the 916 transformed into air intakes, to channel the airflow to the engine, thus exploring the point of highest aerodynamic pressure of the whole bike.
In this creation, Dotto Creations intervened with:
– Body: super lightweight fairing made of high-performance polymers and/or carbon.
– Light assemblies: front headlight, taillights, and turn signals
– Other parts designed by DC: exhausts, saddle, tank, front mudguard, rear mudguard, grips, and much more.
There will be 16 Noveunosei and this dream bike can also be customized according to the customer’s needs.
