The weekend in Jerez was full of surprises and excitement. Marc Márquez secured his first pole position with Ducati, however in the Sprint there were about 15 crashes, including the Spanish rider from Gresini Racing MotoGP™ when he was leading the race. In the end, Marc finished Sunday’s race with a great performance, in second place.
In statements to GPOne, Carlo Pernat spoke about the events during the weekend.
– ‘Great Grand Prix!’ Pecco Bagnaia said to Marc Márquez. “I am number 1!” Great race, perhaps the best of Pecco’s career, who set a record in the end against a very strong Márquez, a phenomenon who tried by all means to overtake him. But today Bagnaia didn’t want to know anything, he must have thought many times ‘I am the king’.
