Everything points to the MotoGP India Grand Prix being canceled – only awaiting formalization from Dorna. And one of the consequences will be the rescheduling of the Kazakhstan Grand Prix.
The round that will take place at the Sokol circuit was originally planned for June 14-16. However, the devastating floods that affected Central Asia a few weeks ago forced a postponement.
At the time, the new dates were not announced… which can now be found: September 20-22, where the India Grand Prix was originally scheduled.
However, according to the Motorsport.com website, the Buddh International Circuit event is canceled. The CEO of the organizing entity Fairstreet Sports, Pushkar Nath Srivastava, talks about moving the India Grand Prix to March 2025, citing the intense heat usually felt in September as the reason. However, the real reason may have been a breach of contract with Dorna.
