In the past month of November, Valencia hosted a MotoGP test day where the 2024 bikes were seen in action for the first time. However, there are still five more days of official tests before the start of the season and room for changes.
In Ducati, general manager Gigi Dall’Igna assured Motorsport.com that there will be visible changes in the Desmosedici GP24: ‘That [from Valencia] was at the beginning of its development. There will be modifications that will be seen soon‘.
Being the only manufacturer without any concessions under the new system, Ducati’s possibilities to test on track will be limited – unlike its rivals, it will not be able to participate in the shakedown with regular riders or have wildcards, in addition to having a frozen engine and being able to make only one aerodynamic update.
