Ducati defends the MotoGP titles in 2024, this time for constructors and riders. However, it also faces a more difficult context, as it has almost no possibilities to develop the bike throughout the season unlike its competitors.
Gigi Dall’Igna, general manager of Ducati Corse, told GPOne.com that the tests in Sepang in February will be vital to draw conclusions, also admitting that the task and challenge under the new regulations will not be simple:
– This is a test that I never consider very significant because the riders and technicians are tired. Therefore, I am waiting for Sepang to evaluate the progress made. Overall, we have to try to do something more in light of the new regulations. The others will be able to develop the bike, it will be almost impossible for us. That said, the first rule is to respect the opponents and not pretend it is easy.
