Ducati has made a strong investment for the 2025 MotoGP season, hiring Marc Márquez as Francesco Bagnaia's teammate – thus having two of the best riders in the current field.

However, there are potential drawbacks to this choice – for example, in managing two fierce competitors who want to be champions and will be part of the same team.

Giacomo Agostini does not believe there will be any major problems. The former rider told Sky Sport Italia that he believes Ducati will give Bagnaia and Márquez the same opportunities, not foreseeing any friction:

– Many ask about managing the relationship between the two. I don't think it will be a big issue because what matters is that I believe, and I'm convinced, that Ducati will give them both the same things – the same developments, the same changes, the same new features.

The record-holder for world titles added: ‘They are in the same team, but if one were out, he would still be an adversary. So, I don't think there will be any issues. What matters is that they give us a great show’.
