This Thursday, the pilots began one of the most challenging stages of the Dakar: a 48-hour marathon stage, without assistance from the technical teams.
In the first part of this sixth stage, the pilots will have until 4:00 PM (local time) to go as far as possible in the timed route of 600km. Then, they will have to reach one of the seven rest areas scattered along the itinerary.
Once at the meeting point, the pilots will have basic equipment to camp. They will not receive any information about their opponents, essentially being isolated from the rest of the world until the end of the second part of the stage tomorrow. The restart time is at 7:00 AM local time, and only at the end will there be results.
