Last Tuesday, Franco Morbidelli suffered a strong crash while training on a Ducati Panigale V4 S at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve. He even spent a night in the hospital before exams confirmed the absence of significant injuries.
This Thursday, the Italian rider from Prima Pramac left a note of gratitude on social media, writing: ‘Thank you all for the messages! Thanks to the help of the marshals, I was able to go through this big impact without any problem. And also thanks to the help of Marc Márquez on the track! Thank you!‘.
Following the crash, Morbidelli was promptly assisted by Marc Márquez, another rider who was riding in Portimão. An accident that, apparently, was nothing more than a scare a few days before the official MotoGP tests in Sepang.
