After the dramatic fall he suffered yesterday during private tests at the Algarve International Circuit, Franco Morbidelli spent the night in the hospital, being examined by doctors.
In the late afternoon, his team, Prima Pramac, issued an update. The Italian underwent a second computed tomography scan that went well. No specific details about Morbidelli’s physical condition were revealed.
However, it is known that #21 would be transported to Alvor hospital for check-out, returning home tomorrow. It should be remembered that next week, on February 6, MotoGP tests begin in Sepang (Malaysia).
