Franco Morbidelli attacks the return to top ten results this weekend. The Monster Energy Yamaha rider arrives at the MotoGP Indian GP in a modest 12th place in the championship, not being among the top ten in a race since the German GP.
The Italian highlighted that the recent confirmation at Pramac allows him to have a different type of focus and approach: ‘Now that it’s official where I will be riding next year, that gave me the clarity needed to focus on the task ahead. Now I can fully concentrate on what’s happening on track and ride without anything to lose’.
Regarding the Indian GP, Morbidelli stated: ‘At the Misano test, it was decided that I will stick with the same bike setup as before, and I’m interested to see how that will be at the Buddh circuit. It’s something new, so it’s always interesting for riders and teams’.
