After saying that Jack Miller has, more than ever, to ‘behave’ this MotoGP season, Francesco Guidotti also advised the rider to focus and forget all the noise that comes from outside regarding the rider market.
With a contract in force until the end of 2024, Miller knows that his place is not secured for 2025 – just like the vast majority of MotoGP riders – so he has to prove that he deserves more opportunities to race at the highest level and, according to KTM’s Team Manager, one thing is certain: it is not because of his relationship with everyone else that his future may be at stake:
– Jack is the best at teamwork, he is the master, always. He has always been perfect with the team and with teammates. When you reach a certain level, it is always a matter of mental approach. He has to be very brave, consistent, and smart to use the right mindset for this season.
Looking back at what was written by the press in 2023, when Pedro Acosta’s promotion to MotoGP for this season was confirmed, there may have been talks about the constructor offering different scenarios or possibilities to the rider, even considering putting him in the test team, for example, so Guidotti just asked the rider to focus on his performance and do what he has to do: ‘All speculation about the rider market has to be forgotten’.
