Brad Binder once again stood out in MotoGP this weekend in India, with the KTM rider finishing both races in fourth place, which means a recovery of eight positions in each. Francesco Guidotti considered that the team has to be happy with the result, especially considering that they couldn’t make the most of KTM’s potential in Buddh.
The Team Manager of the Austrian manufacturer recalled Binder’s performance on Sunday: ‘Another solid race for Brad. He had a good start, but got hit in the first corner and lost some positions. His pace was enough to fight for the top five. We couldn’t make the most of the technical package here, so getting two 4th places means we have to be happy’.
For the Italian it is still desirable to be further ahead, even though the goals have been met: ‘Of course we should be further ahead, but today’s result was good. Being on the podium, or as close as possible to it, is our seasonal goal and, although you can always want better from time to time, we have to be satisfied with a 4th place’.
