The French GP in MotoGP was disastrous for Francesco Bagnaia, who left Le Mans with zero points. He remains third in the championship but is now further from the lead held by his Ducati Lenovo teammate, Marc Márquez.

The 2022 and 2023 world champion briefly reflected on the previous round: ‘The Le Mans weekend didn’t give us much satisfaction. I was fast and competitive from Friday, but the double crash in the race prevent me to score points’.

This weekend, the championship continues with the British GP, and Bagnaia hopes to have more confidence with the bike at Silverstone – a track he enjoys:

– The goal is to have more confidence on the front to be able to ride as I want. I’ve always been very strong at Silverstone in the recent years, I like the track and the atmosphere and I can’t wait to get back at work in the garage.
