Strong emotions are expected for the final phase of the MotoGP World Championship season. The title fight is wide open after Francesco Bagnaia retired from the main race of the Indian GP.
The Italian rider from Ducati continues to lead the championship with 292 points. His margin over Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) has decreased to just 13 points after the Spanish rider finished second in yesterday’s race. Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team/Ducati) was the winner and is now 44 points behind the leader.
At the same time, the Italian rider has built a more solid margin over the fourth-placed rider, who is still Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM). Despite retiring, Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia) remains in fifth place, now just three points ahead of Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac/Ducati).
After returning to the podium, Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) was just three points away from the top ten, remaining in 11th as the best Yamaha rider.
