Francesco Bagnaia continues to struggle with strong performances in Sprint races. However, that wasn’t a priority during the test day in Jerez.
The Ducati Lenovo rider was asked whether he had the chance to test any Sprint-specific solutions, to which he replied: ‘No, because we didn’t have time enough to also test things for it’.
As for a specific fuel tank designed for Sprint races, Bagnaia hopes to test it in the future, but explained that it’s not an easy solution to develop:
– I hope so, but I think it’s not easy, because the regulations say it has to hold more than 12 liters. And fitting 12 liters into the space we have is not easy. So, let’s see.
