During the MotoGP test day that took place yesterday in Jerez, some riders were able to ride with new Michelin tires. Francesco Bagnaia, champion in 2022 and 2023, was one of them.
The Ducati rider confirmed to the press that he worked with a new tire: ‘I tried the new front one, but at that moment the wind started to pick up. Honestly, it was very good on braking, it was very similar‘.
Despite feeling some differences, Bagnaia is cautious in assessing the performance in Jerez, considering that the temperatures were not very high:
– It was different on the right side, but maybe this track wasn’t the best situation to try it, also because the weather wasn’t that hot. So, maybe because of this kind of thing, I was experiencing some movement.
