Francesco Bagnaia is contending for his third consecutive world title in MotoGP. During the French GP, he was involved in an intense battle for victory with Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) and Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati).
According to the Ducati rider, this trio currently stands out as the most complete in the championship, and he believes the title fight could remain primarily between them until the end:
– For me at the moment we are the three most complete riders in the championship. Other riders are fast enough to have a great performance and are able to win races. But I think in terms of speed and consistency we are the most complete riders. Without Jorge’s crash at Jerez it would be the same guys fighting. So I think that for the championship will be more or less like this.
Currently, Martín leads with a 38-point advantage over Bagnaia and 40 points over Márquez, who shares third place with Enea Bastianini (Ducati).
