The latest MotoGP tests are about to begin, now with Qatar hosting two days of testing before the official start of the competition, precisely on the same track. Francesco Bagnaia has clear ideas about his wishes for these last tests in Losail.
The current world champion briefly recalled the last tests in Sepang: ‘We are very close to the start of the Championship and these last two days will be crucial. In Sepang, we were able to do a great job, but we haven’t reached 100% yet. I would say, however, that we were very close and that the development is at 80%’.
And then he said what he wants to do at the Qatar circuit: ‘Here in Qatar, the goal will be to confirm the feeling we had in Malaysia and then start working before the race weekend. We have two very intense days ahead, but I am confident that this test will also give us positive feedback’.
Last season, Bagnaia finished second in the long race, won by Fabio Di Giannantonio, while in the Sprint he finished fifth.
