After months of complications due to injuries, Enea Bastianini seems to be back to his best performances, having won the Malaysian MotoGP. Meanwhile, Ducati’s other rider, Francesco Bagnaia, is fighting for the title and with Bastianini performing well, he may have help in gaining points on rival Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati).
Asked in a press conference if his teammate could be of help in the final stages of the season, the reigning champion replied:
– It’s difficult to know. I have been very clear with the team and will always say that if he has a chance to win, he is in a situation where he needs to attack. So, let’s see. But it’s true that maybe it would be good for us to work together during the sessions. I always prefer to be alone, but perhaps it’s time for us to do something together.
